In 1997, Joshua Safeek founded Fidelity Investment Merchant Bank, Inc. (F.I.M.B)
and became the chief financial officer (CFO). He worked hard to make this venture
capital company a success. Through this company, he helped develop the Ruimzeight
Gardens Housing Scheme on the West Coast of Demerara, Guyana. F.I.M.B also
brought new venture capital funds to Guyana and the businesses in this country.
